Quilted Kitchen

I have always been fascinated with color, food and quilting.  What better way to show my love of all three than to design quilted kitchen projects based on the colors we find in our food?!

Tammy has a degree from Mizzou (University of Missouri-Columbia) from the HES department in Personal Financial Management and Consumer Economics.  She is married to her PhD husband, Dr. Harrison, and they have four children who enjoy the quilts and quilted projects that bless their home.

When she was still in her late teens, Tammy read the saying, “When you sleep under a quilt, you sleep under a blanket of love.”  That was all it took, she *knew* she had to learn how to make quilts and share the quilted love with children (mostly) and loved ones!  About the same time, Tammy started working in a supper club (piano bar and all!), and her fascination with all things food began.  She’s worked in various types of food service for over 10 years, from food prep to food placement design to catering. 

Tammy quilts, she designs quilts…she sleeps with quilts and is passionate about her love of quilts.  Tammy’s family endures her obsession, as only a loving family can.
